Angels Watching Over Me

Happy New Year everyone! I'm so excited to get into this New Year with so many wonderful ideas swirling around in my head. Painting over this past year has been such a blessing and an adventure for me. As I look around, inspiration is everywhere... and painting is truly a piece of my heART.

This past year I took a leap of faith. There were many days filled with insecurity, but there were many more that felt positive and certain. After multiple requests, I decided to sell my art. It has been very personal, but each new day is a challenge, and for that I am very thankful.

Some of the year's highlights include creating custom work, having my art displayed on the walls of friends homes and businesses, appearing in another's Blog, and having my work hung in Designer Interiors.

I get so excited every time someone places an order, and I’m incredibly lucky, as I will be partnering

with some amazing businesses this year who will display my work! My plans this year, include some fun collaborations, a studio tour, and lots of new designs!

Thank you all so much for following along!

”It is when I am creating, that I am inspired the most. For me... painting is a meditation and an outlet and I am the most free and “ME” when I have a brush in my hand and paint on my pallet."

The Holidays were wonderful... but I have been looking foward to getting back into the studio to relax and enjoy my work. The other day, I finally sat down and let my heART out. You know how sometimes things just happen at the right moment… and when they do, your heart skips a beat, and you think to yourself… YES! Whatever you're doing it just makes sense.

So to close... here's a little epiphany I had. I was painting this Angel on my canvas and thinking about a series called "Guardians of the New Year". I love to listen to my Pandora when I paint. Music gives me energy. So as I painted... an old song "Hear You Me" by Jimmy Eat World came on. Interpret the music as you may... at that moment it somehow gave me comfort.

Until Next Time... Have a good one!
